These Yogurt Panna Cotta & Passion Fruit play on two registers: tanginess and sweetness. The passion fruit blends happily with vanilla. Finely, The Greek Yogurt provides probiotics and therefore strengthens the immune system.
Here is the list of the different ingredients you will need to make these Yogurt Panna Cotta & Passion Fruit that serves 4
- 200 g Greek yogurt
- 20 cl whipping cream
- 3 sheets gelatin or 1 tsp. Agar agar
- 1 vanilla bean
- 1 Tbsp vanilla sugar
- 1 Tbsp Brown sugar
- 4 passion fruits
Here are the few steps you will have to follow to make the Yogurt Panna Cotta & Passion Fruit
Start by soaking the gelatine sheets for a few minutes in a bowl of cold water to soften them or sprinkle agar flakes on the cream before cooking.
Pour the cream into a saucepan, add the split vanilla pod in half, vanilla sugar, brown sugar and squeezed gelatine (if you have opted for gelatine). Bring to a boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and remove vanilla pod after sifting.
Pour this mixture over the Greek yogurt and mix. Divide into ramekins or darioles and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
Finally, just before serving the Yogurt Panna Cotta & Passion Fruit unmould the Panna Cottas, cut in half the Passion fruits and pour on top of each Panna Cotta the flesh and the juice of one passion fruit then, serve.
