These Blancmange with Almond Milk are extra easy to make and even if they can be done all year round, when speaking about childhood memories, consumers recalled happy memories of their mothers making vanilla blancmange. We like their freshness at the end of a meal !
Here is the list of the ingredients you will need to make the Blancmange with Almond Milk and that serves 6
- 1/2 l of the almond bean
- 1/2 can (thus 20 cl) of sweetened condensed milk
- 4 small sheets of gelatine or 2 tablespoons of Agar Agar flakes
- 1 vanilla bean
Now these are the few steps you will have to follow to make the Blancmange with Almond Milk
First, heat gently, without boiling, the almond milk and sweet condensed milk. Then add the seeds you got from the vanilla bean cut in half lengthwise.
Meanwhile, soften the gelatine sheets in a bowl filled with cold water. (If you choose Agar Agar flakes, add your powder immediately in the almond milk before heating it.) Otherwise, incorporate the gelatine previously squeezed in your hands, in the hot almond milk.
Finally, pour your preparation into a large bowl or, like me, into individual ramekins. Leave at least 3 hours to cool or better, overnight. You will have your Blancmange with Almond Milk ready to serve the next day with guaranteed success !
