- 1 small kg of apricots
- 50g butter and 50g caster sugar
For the dough
- 600 ml milk
- 100g flour
- 100g sugar
- 5 free range eggs
Now, here are the few steps you will have to follow to make the Apricot Flan with a preparation of 10 minutes and a cooking time of about 45 minutes.
First, wash the apricots under cold water, dry them, split them in half and remove the stones.
Then melt the butter in a large skillet. As soon as it foams, put the apricots in it and sprinkle with sugar, hollow side up. Shake the pan often over the heat and let brown for about 5 minutes.
Now preheat your oven to 400°F or 200 °C. Butter a rectangular dish and sprinkle it with sugar. Mix all the ingredients for the dough with a whisk or with a food processor. Pour the batter into the mold. Spread the apricot halves on top and cook for about 45 minutes.
