This Orange and Fennel Salad, served with a Xérès vinegar and oregano vinaigrette is a super vitamin starter and very easy to prepare. Its energizing colors look great on your February table!
First, here is the list of the different ingredients you will need to prepare this Orange and Fennel Salad that serves 4 people
- 2 table oranges
- 1 small firm fennel
- 1 red onion
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp sherry vinegar
- 1 good pinch or 2 of dried oregano
Now, here are the few steps you will have to follow to make this Orange and Fennel Salad with a preparation time of 10 minutes and a rest of 1 hour
Peel the oranges and cut them into thin slices. Wash and thinly slice the fennel using a mandolin. Peel and finely chop the red onion. You may also use the mandolin !
Put everything in a salad bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, vinegar. Season with salt and dried oregano. Mix well and leave to marinate for at least 1 hour.
Put a turn of the pepper mill on the salad just before sitting down to eat.
