Turkey Fillet Steaks with candied Onions

First here is the list of the different Ingredients you will need to make the Turkey Fillet Steaks with candied Onions that serves 4 

  • 4 turkey Tournedos or fillets steaks
  • 600 g ( 1 1/3 cup) onions
  • 80 g ( 1/3 cup)cane sugar
  • 4 tbsp cider vinegar
  • 10 cl ( 1/2 cup) white wine
  • Salt and pepper

 

Now, here are the few steps you will need to follow to make the Turkey Fillet Steaks with candied Onions

Peel the onions and brown them over high heat in a skillet. Set aside.

In the same skillet, melt the sugar. When it become light brown, put the onions and deglaze with the cider vinegar and white wine. Add salt and pepper and cook for 6 to 8 minutes over low heat and keep warm, covered.

Let fry the steaks on each side and cook over low heat, covered until cooked through.

Serve with some gnocchi’s and salad and coat the steaks with candied onions and sauce and your plate will be perfect.
