This Nectarine and Red Currant Tart is a late-summer tart that you can make with white or yellow peaches, and blueberries or raspberries instead of red currant. It’s an easy and cheap dessert but soooo good.

- 3 beautiful nectarines
- 125 g or 1/2 cup fresh currants
- 40 g or 3 Tbsp ground almonds
- icing sugar (optional)

Now, here are the few steps you will need to follow to make the Nectarine and Red Currant Tart
Turn on the oven at 180 °C or 350°F. First put all the ingredients of the dough in the bowl of a robot, except the egg, and mix until the mixture is sandy. Add the egg and mix in spurts to get a ball of dough. Set aside.
Wash, dry and cut the nectarines in quarters. Spread the dough ( with your fingers if you like ) on a sheet of parchment paper placed on the worktop, sprinkle your dough with almond powder, arrange the nectarine segments, then red currant that you have washed and dried too. Fold the edges towards the center.
Cook for about 45 minutes. Let cool and sprinkle with lavender flowers before serving if you like. This Tart is just a delight !
