First, here is the list of the different ingredients you will need to make the Small 3 Flavour Cream Pots that serves 6
- One sprig lemon balm, one sprig verbena and 1 sprig thyme or rosemary
- 6 egg yolks
- 30 cl (1 1/4 cup) milk
- 300 g (10 oz) cream
- 150 g (51/2 oz) caster sugar
- 1 vanilla pod
- 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
Now, here are the few steps you will need to follow to make the Small 3 Flavour Cream Pots
First, split the vanilla pod in half and draw the seeds with a sharp knife. Whisk together the egg yolks with the sugar and add vanilla seeds and milk at the end.
Then, whisk again by adding the cream. Divide your batter into three bowls. Add 3 chopped verbena leaves in one of three bowls. 3 chopped lemon balm leaves in the 2nd bowl and 3 chopped rosemary sprigs and the cocoa in the last bowl. Mix well each batter and pour each bowl in two small pots.
Finely, bake for about 30 minutes in the oven at 300°F (150°C) or until the custards are set. Remove from oven, let cool and set aside to refrigerate. Just before serving, decorate the pots with fresh lemon balm, verbena and rosemary. Enjoy !
